Aoife Flynn

Limerick Institute of Technology, LSAD was delighted to host Head of Audiences and Development at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Aoife Flynn to discuss the public museum cultural sector from a female perspective and the artists opportunities that arise from this.

Born in Sligo, Aoife Flynn has over fifteen years experience in arts management encompassing programming, project management, marketing, strategy, tourism, sponsorship and policy. Passionate about arts marketing and audience development, she specialises in strategic digital marketing and has spearheaded several new media campaigns to encourage new audiences for contemporary arts.

Previously the Development Manager at The Model, home of the Niland Collection in Sligo, she established her own consultancy asquared in 2010. Over the past five years, asquared has worked closely with digital technology to develop audiences for arts and cultural clients. Aoife has recently completed a Masters in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship with Trinity College, Dublin and Goldsmiths, London where she was awarded a distinction (First class honours).
