Catherine O’Riordan

Limerick Institute of Technology, LSAD was delighted to host gallery owner of SO Fine Art and entrepreneur Catherine O’Riordan for a talk on working and exhibiting with commercial galleries.  

SO Fine Art Editions, a gallery run by Catherine O’Riordan, exhibiting exciting and dynamic original fine art prints, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass and photography by established and emerging Irish and international artists. Opened since September 2013, SO Fine Art Editions is situated on the 2nd Floor in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, on South William Street, in the heart of Dublin city centre.

The gallery is dedicated to unveiling the mysteries of the original print world where the techniques of lithography, etching, carborundum and drypoint can be viewed and carefully explained. SO Fine Art Editions specializes in original prints, applied art, photography and sculpture.

Catherine O’Riordan ran the Graphic Print Studio Gallery for eight years and has a comprehensive knowledge of printmaking in all its guises. 

Photography is also an interest the gallery pursues featuring work by Amelia Stein and Paul Gaffney as well as British artist Idris Khan and American photographer Gregory Crewdson.
