Kristina Åberg

Wom@rts highlights the equal share presence of women in the arts and creative industries in the European cultural heritage and diversity. Womarts Ambassadors are recognised as outstanding European artists from different fields of arts and culture and they have been invited to host a series of masterclasses in Europe.

Producer Kristina Åberg hosted a Masterclass at Carl International Film Festivall in collaboration with WIFT Finland and WIFT Nordic. Kristina shared her path as a filmmaker and talked about her passion and inspiration for filmmaking. Kristina Åberg (1962) is known for her work on The Nile Hilton Incident (2017) which won at Sundance in 2017, five Guldbagge Awards and was also nominated for César in France in 2018.
