Limerick Institute of Technology, LSAD was delighted to host Denise Rushe for a workshop in artist marketing and networking. 

Denise Rushe established Starling Digital Media Direction in 2012. “We specialise in the delivery of digital marketing campaigns and digital strategies, working with creative, cultural, lifestyle and tourism clients. We work with artists, crafts people, designers, musicians, creative producers, film makers, surf schools, theatre producers, independent shop owners, trailblazers and adventurers.” Before establishing Starling, Denise worked at some of Ireland’s leading cultural organisations including The Model Arts Centre, Dublin Theatre Festival and Temple Bar Cultural Trust.  In 2013, Starling won Best in Digital Marketing Brilliance for the Sligo – Who Knew? campaign at the Irish Internet Association Awards.

Denise has been a mentor with Sligo and Leitrim Enterprise Board and Sligo Leader Partnership, and has mentored a wide range of businesses across the cultural, creative and tourism spector. Denise also has delivered social media and digital marketing workshops on behalf of Heritage Week Ireland, Sligo Arts Service, Sligo Volunteer Centre, Association of Irish Festivals and Events and Temple Bar Cultural Trust.
